The Great Monster Match

Today we celebrated all of our great Monster Match writing by going on a hunt to find the monsters that matched the different descriptions.  Each student had a booklet with all of the descriptions and tried to match them with the correct monster.  We are going to finish up tomorrow.

You are welcome to come on in and go on a hunt of your own or you can check them all out below.  See if you can match all 28 monsters with the correct descriptions.

  

By Joanna ________ My monster has a light green round face with sparkly gold cheeks. He also has swollen red eyes and a warm smile covered with bright red lipstick. My monster’s face is surrounded with bright blue sharp pointy spikes. He has a peach neck and stomach with really long brown stripes.  He has skinny and long orange arms with dark green and bright yellow circular hands. My monster has dark blue legs like the night sky, on his dark blue legs are huge purple spots. He has yellow webbed feet like a duck, quack quack.  He loves to play with red hearts and gold hearts with gold stars. His favourite game is happy families. He is a really happy and friendly and happy, playful monster. If you see my monster don’t forget to say hello. He would love a new friend!

By Sofia ________ My monster’s name is Zoe.  She has sharp teeth like a vampire.  She has green skin.  She has white eyes like Snow White. She’s a demon.  Sometimes she eats little children.  She hates wavy blue water.  She has red creepy fangs.  She lives in a small country called New Zealand.  She is creepy so watch out!  “Ahhh!”  She has a red long dress.  She has a grey creepy necklace.  She has a small pink wicked grin.  She has a big grey bow.  She has hearts on the bottom of her red dress.  My monster is fantastic.

By Zachary ________ My monster has a razor blade hand that can rip through lead!!!  He has a big hook hand.  He has two heads.  He has green, red, and black horns.  He has gear knees.  He eats sand, dirt, mud, and revolting things.  He has a ton of scars.  He also has a pink, red, and green face.  Don’t go near my monster.

By Riccardo ________ Watch out here comes a monster with dark purple sharp horns and red dead pointy sharp eyes.  Beside them he has a smooth metal bolt through his head.  Right under it he has sixteen tremdously sharp teeth. On the top of his teeth a dark purple nose surrounded with gold. Under the sharp teeth he has a bright green smooth chin. He has four bright colorful arms. He also has a big colorful tummy with the following colours green, red, and blue. He also has an extremely sharp tail with lightening bolt patterns at the top of his tail he has  a circle with spikes. Just beneath it he has sharp claws like a cat. Find him before he gets you.

By Michael ________ My monster has rough brown skin that looks like dirt.  He has a tall body. He also a round frill on his head. He has smooth sharp horns on his head. Pointy painful poisnous teeth are hanging in his mouth. The arms are colourful and in the hands there a sharp claws that grab you so be careful.  Around his mouth his lips shine like red blood. (I hope you don’t meet him.)

By Jayden ________ My monster has a long thin body like a bungy jump elastic. He has three spiky necks and heads. One of them has a red neck and a yellow neck like molten rock. All over his body he has sharp blades like a big sharpened thorn. At the end of his tail he has a sharp tail with venom in it. The colours of his body is pink, yellow, pinky red green orange body like a lime raspberry strawberry banana milkshake. He has red, yellow, orange, rotten mouldy off teeth. My monster eats freezing snowman ice, hot sand, wet grass, juicy boys and girls, clean clear water, wood, bloody meat, hair with nits, ingrown rotten finger nails. One thing you don’t want to meet my monster because if you do that’s the end of you ok.

By Jacob ________ My monster is multicoloured and has some sharp horns and a purple eye. It looks like a alien because it has one eye. It has a sharp sharp hook like a sharp crystal. He has really sharp blades like a point of a diamond. He has horns as sharp as a sword. He is like a robot. If he goes in the water he will die. He has blade shoes. He is about two metres high. He feels firm. He is friendly and he is a king. He is freaky. He has any kind of condition shoes and if he gets cold he can swap his crown for his beanie. He looks furry. His name is Clown.

By Mia ________ I know a big round purple monster called Mome. She is hard to miss because she is bright purple. She has one big bulging eye just below her forehead.  On top of her head she has a bright blue cap with the letter M on it.  The dark blue M stands for her awesome school netball team the Momo at Momy high school. She also has a big blue mouth with two teeth sticking out like a toddler. She has a round body shaped like a ball of bubble gum. She has four tentacles coloured like the dark night sky. She has two long purple legs which stick out of the bottom of her body. She is very friendly and has lots of friends! If you are wondering she is two years old and sooo adorable! She is one metre and 10cm tall (including her cap.) Just before you leave if you ever see her say HI.

By Allie ________ My monster is a cute and cuddly bunny monster. She is super smooth and has a light pink tummy and all over it are patches that look like tallies.  She has one dark green hand on her left, but on the other it is bright and sunny pink that is the same colour as her tummy. She has six green yummy lime milkshake coloured eyes. Poking out of her dark, dark, dark red lips that look like blood is a bright blue tongue. On each of her fluffy white bunny ears are pink spots that look like she is hearing something interesting. Her little feet match her stomach like a bunnys because when someone sees her causing trouble she disguises herself as a bunny. Behind her is a beautiful light purple background.  This trouble maker can get very excited and that means a lot of noise and again like I said she is sooo cheeky.  She can also get very cheeky when telling jokes to her friends. At bunny school she is independent and her mind just goes somewhere every day.

By Tara ________ My happy monster Jess loves to play, has a soft orange body. She has one skin coloured tooth.  She has three bright yellow eyes. Jess has two dark green pointy horns. Her legs are very short. She is awesome and nice. Jess loves to cuddle because she is cuddly and little. She is a baby monster.

By Nate ________ Watch out for a cool ghost with two unmatching eyes, one orange and one yellow. He is made of burning fire which can burn in cold water and soft foam. His head is made of hot fire. His comfy home is made of burning fire. He has a smooth shiny dark black cloak. He has a burning fire shooting arm.  He has an orange arm with a little bit of light yellow. He is very scary!

By Ben ________  “Watch out” I know a very grumpy monster called Sally. He has sharp, dark blue horns like a devil out the tippy top of his head. He has three red eyes to show that he’s evil. He has nine deadly sharp teeth like a big bad wolf.  He has a very fat green face with very fat ears.  He’ll get super angry if he doesn’t get his own way. When he gets angry he has steam blaze out of his ear like burning fire.  He gets really annoyed when you play up with him.  He has short as legs like tiny mouse. His only fear is deadly spiders. He’s really dishonest when he does something wrong. He’s also really confident at “SCRATCHING YOU” so watch out is my big warning.

By Ethan ________ There’s a monster that’s half zombie half skeleton.  He’s got a blood staff which has a blood gem on the top.  He has a crown with a blood gem.  He’s got blood all over his mouth.  He has ripped off skin and flesh that you would be able to see his ribcage.  He has super duper sharp sharp teeth that are so sharp that they shine.  The creepy thing is that he has no eyes in his eye balls.  He might be haunting you.

By Leigh ________ My monster is the best monster in the world.  My monster has pretty purple ears.  My monster is dark pink.  My monster has googley eyes.  She has purple cheeks.  She has purple lips.  She has golden teeth like the bright sun.  She has red wings like the flaming fire.  She has purple legs.  She has golden shoes like the golden star on the yellow reading group.

By Poppy ________ I know a monster called English.  Zoom.  She is as fast as a rocket.  She is my Auntie in my world.  She is a thief because she steals everything in the world.  Like your toys, clothes and your money.  She is a nasty student.  She will scribble on your work for no reason.  No class compliments for that classroom it is room 7 run run from English.  Everything she steals is in her brain.  She has four eyes.

By Rose ________ Watch out!!!!!!!!!  I know a monster called Splod.  He is the god of people with short funky like names.  He is 1,111,000,000,000 metres and is very goofy.  He is half giant and half sea monster.  On the tip top of his head he has two black pointy horns.  He has 10,000 eyes around his head.  He is cut throat and has three black bristley tooth brushes growing out of his middle.  He has six long legs like a little old lady bug so watch out!!!!!

By Jake ________ My monster has horns as big as a tissue box and he has little spikes on the sides.  He has no eye brows like something that is invisible.  He wants to go to sleep so be quiet.  Anyway he only has one eye so he can’t see as good as humans.  His arms are as wobbly as jelly.  His teeth ah oh!  You don’t want to hear about this do ya?  Ok ready?  His teeth are so big that he might jump up and eat you alive and save your guts and brain for dessert.  His body is so slimy and sticky that you stick to it.  He also has legs like a centipede.  He also has spikes to protect himself.  His poisonous tail is what you have been begging for the whole time!  I hope you run in to my monster. 

By Aidan ________ You might of thought monsters weren’t real but they actually are because I know a monster called Max and I’m going to tell you all about him in a second.  He has big long tusks like a walrus and three heads with big pointy green horns on the tippy top of them.  He also has three wide grins since he has three heads.  He has two yellow long wings with sharp pointy spikes.  He has an electric tail and four clawed feet.  He has four arms each one holds a weapon.  It doesn’t matter if you run into my monster because he’s a friendly one.

By Emma ________ I know a monster called Wiggle Squiggles. I once saw her in the deep blue wavy sea. She has a cute piggy face. Her nose is very big because she is very nosey with her big nose. She has a very nice cheeky smile. She has zebra stripes on her wiggle smooth body. She has colourful wings so she can fly out  of  the wavy water and back in on the smooth sand.  She has wiggle tentacles and if you touch them they will get you so watch out!  She has two sneaky snakes sticking out of her wiggly tentacles.  I know she sounds a bit mean but she is very nice.  I will see you again soon when I see another ugly or pretty monster.

By Keira ________ My monster went to a hot pool that was boiling and hot that he got chicken spots.  When my monster went to the ice cream shop he grew very, very large.  The monster is kind, nice, and fat.  My monster went to an aquarium and had a white top on when he stepped in butterflies and love hearts got on him. 

By Brooke ________ I know a monster.  Her name is Chalite.  She is deadly and powerful.  Her big stick teeth are sharp enough to suck your blood.  Her fluffy pale face makes her look so sick.  If you look in to her eyes you will get blinded.  She has big sharp cat claws and a long pink cape and a big M on it.  Her pink tights squeeze her legs so much.  She has brown hair as brown as the dirt.  It’s tied up on the top of her head in a black piggy tail that goes all the way down to her hips.  When it is out it goes all the way down to her toes.  Her eyes are as black as the night sky.  In the morning the light makes her eyes to grey.  She has long purple wide boots.  If you look closely you will see four pack abs on her stomach.  Over her eyes are purple eye shadow that looks so nice and it goes well with her blue and purple dress.  She has two boo boos on her pale face.  She has two pale ears that look like a ball of fluff.  She has a purple big belt that is so big and tight it squeezes her hips so much she could nearly die.  That is Chalite my powerful deadly monster.

By Casey ________ I know a monster her name is Bella.  She is so strong she can lift a building she has long gold hair molty coloured horns and fire coming out of her hands.  She has red evil eyes and a puffy pink and green dress and pink shiny shpar claws and a pretty tiara on the top of her head.  She is as big as a fish and she blends in well with trees.  She is so cool and amazing.

By Noah ________ My monster is named Cool Dude.  He has six arms.  He is incredibly strong.  He is in a hot air balloon.  He is a baboon.  His sand bags are filled with money. He is fussy.  He is in the sky.  Would you like to meet him? He is throwing TNT and it hit someone in the head.  Ouch I bet you woudn’t want to be him.

By Julia ________“Watch out” zoom like the wind because a wiggly sloppy monster with some amazing food is going to get you.  He is a scrunchy colourful spectacular rainbow.  It can blend with some rainbow stuff.  It has a brilliant face and an enormous.  It has some horns like a bird in the shiny bright sky.  It has some squarish eyes like Minecraft and it has a triangle nose like spikes which can hurt you.  “Ouch!” He has a squiggly mouth and a black short hair like Ms Grassi hair and like the beautiful night sky.  He has six windy pink arms like lots of papers blowing in the strong wind.  Also he has sloppy legs like an octopus floating in the awesome sea.  Also you’ll never guess what it is a confused monster just like me!  It is an excited monster like Ros is excited like she is going to explode ahh!  It has the softest body ever like Emma’s soft coat.

By Ali ________ I know a rude, cute, freaky monster. He has a crocodile head, super sharp teeth and big scary eyes. He has a bright orange spine and a massive green rough scaly body. He has massive huge feet. He has sharp claws like a dinosaur. He has a spiky sharp tail. I like my monster.

By Frankie ________“Look out” there is a slippery two headed monster on the run!  They have straight blue hair with mean emerald eyes and they have orange teeth.  They are taking their cute flying puppy for a walk.  They are wearing a beautiful pink and red dress that sways in the wind.  She has four arms and four legs which are great for running and catching people.  Oh their feet they are wearing pretty pink shoes.  She may be pretty but she is very mean.  She plays pranks on lots of animals.  Make sure you keep out of her way!

By Eli ________ I know a friendly awesome monster with a cyber wrist and leg.  He has yellow spikey hair and three gernades dangling from a pocket in his bullet proof vest.  Over the bullet proof vest there is a bullet storage belt.  He also has four arms with tommy guns at the bottom and two shot guns at the top.  He has green slimy skin and a cannon on his tail.  If he is your friend he is also your bodygaurd which I think is cool!  He will stand up for you if you are getting bullied.  He is also very strong, humongous, and rich!

By Alice   ________I know a monster. Her name is Sielana Gomez. She is... famous. She has big pointy years. Inside her ears she has golden earrings. She has some mittens that make her hands warm. Also she has a yellow scarf as bright sun. Her purse is filled with 1,006,007 dollars. She is a rich woman.  I think that her pockets are cool because they are in her skin. She is our auntie. She is nice to us. She is the best I love her and she loves me.
